FIFA under investigation in Texas for fraudulent ticket sales and inflated prices for the 2026 World Cup

The Texas Attorney General opened a formal investigation against FIFA for the alleged fraudulent sale of tickets for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in several stadiums in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The investigation arises after multiple complaints from fans who reported excessive prices, duplicate tickets, and fake websites impersonating the official FIFA site for ticket sales.
